I have spent my career creating and running high-technology manufacturing businesses. Now, through Eightwire, I create new manufacturing ventures, while at the same time helping others do the same.

Originally from Norwich, England,  I studied Industrial Engineering before moving to the United States in 1986.

My work is shaped by two steady passions: people and innovation. I have built multiple high-technology manufacturing companies around those principles -differentiated products, creative thinking, and cultures where everyone belongs.

Today, I am focused on sharing what I have learned from four decades of experience across product design, patent work, prototyping, engineering, sales, operations, and executive leadership.

I am now at a point of giving back. Mentoring younger persons starting out on their work journey, helping entrepreneurs follow their dreams, and founders scale their companies.  I am also establishing relationships with local educational establishments to allow real world engineering and manufacturing access for interested young persons.

In my spare time, I am co-founder of Gathering Matters, a global foundation set up to address the declining levels of in-person social interaction by young people.
